Tal Wright provides communication planning, advertising and marketing communications, media relations and crisis response, and copywriting and content development services to businesses and nonprofit organizations. He enjoys the challenges of brand strategy development and translating complicated or controversial information into a persuasive story.
Tal served in a number of roles over a 30-year career at Georgia Power Company, including vice president of corporate communication. His responsibilities included managing responses to numerous crises, supporting the company’s efforts to obtain permits for the first new nuclear power units built in the U.S. in 30 years, and the company’s advertising, marketing communications, media relations and employee communications functions.
He is Accredited in Public Relations (APR) by the Public Relations Society of America. As a consultant, he supported the Cobb Chamber’s successful Competitive EDGE program and its communication strategies for the Atlanta Braves’ move to Cobb County. He supported Emory Healthcare’s efforts to obtain additional public funding for Southern Regional Medical Center, and continues to provide marketing communications, media relations, employee communications, and executive communication services to the hospital.
Tal’s healthcare experience also includes Athens-based University Cancer & Blood Center (UCBC), where he provided marketing communications, media relations and print and radio advertising, as well as Tanner Healthcare, and Mayo Clinic. He provided Women’s Resource Center of Atlanta with rebranding, media training and content development services.
